PLY Solutions Products
PLY uses environmentally friendly polyurethane foams that are designed to target the 4 Key Processes of Commercial Foam Application. These patented foams are made from recycled materials, making them the “greenest” option on the market. They come in several densities and are formulated for different peak compressive and tensile strengths, expansion ratios, and reaction times. This customizability makes them versatile and suitable for various applications, such as high-density lifting, stabilization, void filling, and undersealing.
Our foams have undergone ASTM testing and meet high standards for quality and performance. Recycled foams provide benefits like fast tack-free time and a high compressive strength skin that avoids concrete adhesion and improves structure integrity. Our foams have fast and aggressive expansion, making them ideal for lifting concrete, along with a 15-minute cure time, allowing for easy slab manipulation while adjusting for perfection.
PLY Solutions is the eco-friendly and efficient solution for stabilizing your concrete structures.
Recycled Line
The foam products in this line are made with materials that are environmentally responsible, renewable, and recycled. The high biobased content of these foams has earned them approval from the USDA as Certified Biobased Products. Additionally, the recycled materials are treated with a catalyst that increases reaction times and decreases reliance on petroleum-based raw materials.
Recycled Foam | Use & Applications |

Hydrofoam Line
The Hydrofoam line is formulated with new raw materials that differ from those used in the Recycled Line mentioned earlier. These foams are specifically designed to set up in water, providing great dimensional stability without shrinking, a property known as hydro-insensitivity or hydrophobicity. Hydrofoam is ideal for sub-grade applications that are exposed to ground water, such as in Deep Foamjection™ techniques.

RR 600 Soil Stabilizer
Single-Component
RR 600 is a single component polyurethane with low viscosity that is specifically designed to stabilize and bind loose soils. This soil binder is ideal for use in a variety of applications, including stabilizing peat, loose sands, sea walls, concrete floors, foundations, and helical anchors.
Applications
- Peat
- Loose Soils
- Seawalls
- Concrete Floors
- Foundations
- Helical Piers
Benefits
- Single Component
- Fast Cure Time
- Contains no TDI
- Very low viscosity
FS201 Exterior Foundation Wall Spray
Dual-Component
FS 201 is a dual-component, 2 lb per cubic foot expansive polyurethane foam that is specially formulated for use as an exterior foundation wall spray. Its fast reaction time prevents dripping during application. This foam provides a moisture barrier for foundation walls, seals all cracks, and waterproofs the foundation. Moreover, it eliminates the need for tarring. With FS 201 foundation wall spray, sealing foundation walls can take as little as one hour, compared to the entire day required when using tar.
Applications
- Exterior Foundation Wall Spray
- Moisture Barrier
Benefits
- Fast reaction time
- Great adhesion
- Up to 35x expansion
FillFoam™ Void Filling Foam
Single-Component
FillFoam™ is a pre-expanded foam that is highly versatile and hydro-insensitive, making it ideal for use in various geotechnical applications. The foaming reaction does not generate heat, which allows FillFoam™ to fill voids and tanks of any size without issue. It can also be pumped over long distances to fill pipes and culverts.
Once cured, FillFoam™ is chemically inert and, when injected underground, it enhances soil bearing capacity. As a result, it is an excellent choice for lifting and leveling projects, such as airport runways and industrial buildings. Foam density can be easily adjusted on site, allowing the installer to tailor the foam to fit the specific requirements of any given application.
Applications
- Void Fill
- Oil, Gas and Water Well Decommissioning
- Pipe Abandonment
- Seawall, Airport, Railway Repair
- Industrial and Storage Building Stabilization
- Mine Reclamation
- Soil Stabilization – Increase Load Bearing Capacity
* Single Vs. Dual Component Polyurethane Foams
Single-component and dual-component polyurethane foam are two different types of foam used for various applications. The main difference between them is how they are applied and cured.
Single-component foam is typically supplied in aerosol cans or disposable tanks and is used for small-scale applications such as sealing gaps and cracks. This foam is pre-mixed and expands when it comes into contact with air or moisture. Single-component foam has a limited shelf life once it has been opened and requires the correct temperature and humidity conditions to cure properly.
Dual-component foam, on the other hand, is a two-part system that consists of a resin and a hardener. The two components are mixed together through a spray gun or a mixing machine and then applied to the desired surface. This type of foam is used for larger applications, such as insulation or concrete raising. Dual-component foam has a longer shelf life than single-component foam and can cure at a wider range of temperatures and humidity levels.
In summary, the main difference between single and dual-component polyurethane foam lies in their application and curing methods. Single-component foam is used for small-scale applications and expands when exposed to air or moisture. Dual-component foam is used for larger applications and requires the mixing of two components before application.
